TOAST FOR THE
SOULS
CELEBRATE DÍA DE LOS
MUERTOS WITH HORNITOS
Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a moment rooted in Mexican heritage when families come together to honor and celebrate the memories of their loved ones. In our home of Jalisco, copitas have always played a vital role in those celebrations. Copitas serve as an offering to one’s ancestors – the sweet agave aroma of tequila guides the souls on a long journey from the afterlife to the ofrenda and quenches their thirst upon arrival. In a similar fashion cempasúchil or marigolds, also known as Flor de Muerto, are placed upon ofrendas, for their vibrant colors and sweet aroma are believed to help guide spirits home. This Día de los Muertos Hornitos invites you to place a copita or a bottle on your loved one’s ofrenda and partake in a ‘Toast for the Souls’ with our Flor de Muerto cocktail.

Our Hornitos Calavera is inspired by traditional Día de los Muertos artwork, while incorporating details of Hornitos iconography.
